The popularity of injectables is on the rise and has been for over a decade. While Botox is still number one, dermal fillers are quickly encroaching on that spot. Either way, the more pressing issue is selecting the right option for your skin, if you choose to give these treatments a try. Our in-house nurse practitioner Julie Rowland will not only explain the differences between Botox® and fillers, she will give you a natural look to be proud of!
Botox® in Hot Springs
Destinations offers Botox Cosmetic injectable treatment for clients interested in reducing the appearance of the visible effects of age. Botox Cosmetic is a neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes the facial muscles in the designated treatment area to treat dynamic wrinkles like frown lines, crow’s feet, and smile lines. If you are looking to restore a younger-looking appearance without undergoing an extensive surgical procedure, Botox Cosmetic might be the right choice for you!
What Is Botox?
Botox Cosmetic is an injectable aesthetic treatment comprised of botulinum toxin, a neuromodulator, that can be used to soften and smooth fine lines and dynamic wrinkles that have formed as a result of repeated muscle contraction. Botox works by temporarily relaxing the facial muscles in the treated area and preventing them from contracting, which reduces the appearance of dynamic wrinkles and restores a younger-looking, refreshed appearance.

Little To No
Destinations Day Spa in Hot Springs, Arkansas also offers Dermal Fillers. While Botox Cosmetic injections work by relaxing the muscles that create facial wrinkles, injectables work by replacing lost volume to reduce moderate to severe lines and wrinkles. If you wish to achieve rejuvenation, but do not feel ready for a facelift or a brow lift, dermal fillers can help you accomplish a youthful appearance without surgery. During your consultation with Julie Rowland, you will discuss your cosmetic goals and decide which filler can provide the benefits you desire.
